Five stars for the new service dept at the Camping World in Richmond Indiana. They have a new service manager, he is very professional, this young man takes his job seriously. Our camper was there 4 weeks, for multiple repairs from a previous insurance claim. Some of the repairs were due to there tearing something up while they had are camper, or they just didn't fix it the first time. The old service manager would not return calls, they had our camper 6 months, it was a nightmare. This time the new manager was awesome. He called us, or e-mailed us with the progress of the repairs. All work was completed, and we are very pleased with the new service dept. It was done in a timely fashion, and would have been sooner, they had to order parts. I will go back if I need work again. I on the other hand would not buy a camper there. They are higher than other places, and will insult you with what they offer you for your trade in. You Can Walk IN Sales And They Won't Even Ask If You Need help. I miss the old Tom Raper, we bought several campers from them, but there service dept. was horrible. To sum up, service is great, but don't I would not buy there.
We just left CAMPING WORLD in Richmond, IN (4 hrs away from our home) after spending a couple hours there, giving ourselves a guided tour, due to NONE of the multiple staff members asking us if we needed assistance or if we had questions. Like I said...there were plenty of staff standing around talking to each in the showroom, perhaps they had fall allergies and could not come outside....which all we really needed them for was to help us with the prices of the fifth wheels (since none were marked)...this is the first dealership that we have been to the trailers did not have the prices inside...so, if the staff didn't want to help customers, at least they could put prices and specs in the trailers.Can I rate this less than one star? Off to Walnut Ridge with hopefully better luck....
Had an excellent experience at Camping World in Richmond. Purchased a 2018 Starcraft and couldn't be happier with the whole experience other than that we had skipped lunch and we were STARVING by the time we finished up :-). Our Salesman Wade was courteous, professional, and went the extra mile to insure that we were taken care of even though he was on vacation the day we picked up our new camper. Krista in finance was filling in from the Fairfield location and was excellent to work with as well. No complaints! We love our new camper and Camping World did just fine by us.
Products over priced. Do not match their own online prices. Service department does not tell you it may take several weeks to get approval for fixing manufacturing defects & you can keep & use your camper while waiting. They also prefer text messages vs phone calls.
We're down here in Jacksonville Florida and it's NOT working and they won't answer my calls or emails
It's been in and out of shop multiple times don't buy washer and dryer combo they work for a while then quits. They don't know how to fix them but they sell them. I took it in the shop kept it for two weeks told them the furnace was not working they said it work fine
Fall didn't get it till February took it to Florida had to stop in Ocala Florida camping world to get the front end fixed it was about to fall off
