We just tried to visit this brewery. We had our kids with us as we are traveling and as soon as we walked through the door the lady behind the bar very rudely told us that they were not a allowed in there. We sat outside on the patio and waited a long time. There was only one other couple there and at least 2 workers. No one came out to greet us or to get our order so we left. It's a shame being that they are so close to the freeway but we most definitely will not be back.
If making bland beer, being rude to customers and listening to punk Americana is "hip" than this is the place you want to be. I had never been there until last night and after about 10 minutes decided I would never go there again or buy their beer. The blonde female bartender was extremely rude and failed miserably at customer service.
I'm not going to say that this place has the best beer I've ever had. Most of the beer they had was decent, but probably wouldn't return. I am from out-of-town, so the options I have at home are much better. I did enjoy the Red Ale though. The taproom is very cozy and the prices are very reasonable. The bartender, Joe, was very friendly. If they could improve their beer I would go back.
New place looks great. Does this mean the former location is Old Boswell now? Lol
Great atmosphere. Sat on the patio with our kiddos, played games, drank beer and root beer (for the kids). Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.
