You get what you pay for. This is a very reasonable nights stay. I would strongly encourage management to consider replacing the bedspreads that have so many burn holes(room 301). It causes a dirty feeling even though the room seemed reasonably clean.
Very nice and obviously hard-working lady at front desk. Given what she has to work with, I think this motel is as nice/clean as it can be. But the room smelled like smoke (it's a non-smoking hotel)...it's cheap, dingy, worn, looks like something out of a crappy B-rated drug dealer movie. Sheets were clean, but worn thin and stained. Interior--at least of room we had--needs COMPLETELY gutted and redone. Also did not feel safe due to the rip-rap this hotel attracts. I would have rather paid more for a better room near other guests who actually don't smoke in a non-smoking motel. We...left not long after checking in. Just the thought of sleeping there gave us the creepy crawlies. Didn't ask for a refund. Probably should have. Oh, and pool empty and it was like 95 degrees out.
Appreciated the in room coffee maker. Breakfast was OK, certainly not the "wonderful" breakfast that was promised. It would be a nice gesture to warm rooms up to a reasonable temperature prior to guest arrival. We were unable to take coats off for nearly an hour after arrival in our room--it was so cold. The heater worked fine and we were comfortable once a reasonable room temperature was achieved. Good TV.
Room was surprisingly clean. staff was nice but had to wait on them to show up at front desk for about 15 minutes. beds very uncomfortable. just poor low budget motel all around
Rooms are small, but efficient. Beds are comfortable. The free breakfast is simple but filling. Would be improved by some eggs of some kind. The washing machine is cheap to use. Could use a little upkeep in the way of linnens and such, there are some burn holes. Overall a good stay.
Lady at the front desk is super nice, room was clean and comfortable. Price was very affordable. Will come back
