A shadow of it's former self the park is still a great place for the family to hike, picnic, or play. The playground is well-kept. The park is a nice place for a beautiful drive to get away from everything it to walk around and watch the ducks at the lake. The zoo is long gone but understandable given the cost to maintain the proper way.
Huge playground! Probably the biggest playground I've been to. My kids loved it! There is also a lake and some places where you can go for a walk. Clean restrooms right next to the playground. Just outside the main drag but you can't tell. Forest all around, very beautiful.
This park has it all. Free golf, rose garden, huge play area with two different age specific equipment areas, tennis courts, paths, frisbee golf, natural spring, and a splash park with concessions in the summer. Awesome duck pond with fountain and picnic areas.
Glen Miller Park has a nice playground for children to play. There are many picnic and shelter areas for family gatherings.The pond is lovely and families like to feed the ducks and fish there. Glen Miller Park is a nice place to jog or take relaxing walks. I always enjoy my visits to Glen Miller Park.
This is one of the greatest parks around. There are places for nature hikes, a big beautiful lake that is feed by a spring. You can collect spring water at various nozzles along the stream between the spring and the lake. The kids play area is fantastic! Everyone always has a great time. Later in the evening, stop by to see a show in their amphitheater. This is truly a great park!
