Outside buildings of antique cars, farm implements, carriage house, pioneer log cabin, bakery, printing shop etc. The main house (150 yrs old) has a basement of civil war memorabilia, cobbler shop, film history and so much more. The main floor is full of pre historic artifacts including mastidon tooth, arrowheads etc. Of special interest is the mummy and his x-rayd image. The best museum...well worth the $7.00 admission charge and reasonable gift shop (donated antique glassware etc for sale to support further museum finds). A must see in Richmond IN.
Fantastic museum, especially for the size. At only $7 for admission its a steal. So much to see and learn. They have a great collection of classic cars, a really cool blacksmith shop, an old school house and a normal family home too. If you are in the area you should stop by and give yourself 2 or 3 hours.
Did not expect this to be as interesting & diverse a collection. Tons of pieces covering such a varying scope of cultures & eras. The staff was friendly, accommodating, & willing to help if needed. I will be going back.
We where surprised how interesting and how well laid out the musuem was. There is something for everyone. Must see when you are in Richmond.
Was very nice, lots of decorations and friendly people. My son loved it!
