How this location has earned 4 stars is beyond my wildest imagination. We stay at 20+ loves a month! We've been to nearly all of them over the years. We absolutely love, Loves! This store is old (no excuse) and filthy. Bathroom Tiles are mismatched, broken, plastic sinks have layers of filth. The cold sandwich cooler was blowing warm air and the sandwiches had condonation within the plastic bags and they were expanded. Someone's going to get sick. The fruit was dated for the 20th, expired! The shower (#2) I was given didn't have a door lock, anyone could come in! The trash can had the last persons garbage in it and the floor had trash on it as well as other things. It obviously had not been swept nor mopped. (11/21 2:30am) Some of the The pictures on this page are not pictures from this loves, maybe from the loves West of here. The employees at Hardee's were very Nice. The women working the professional driver register was rude. Driver was at scale waiting to get weighed, he sounded out of breath. She made a scene Infront of all of us waiting in line, said he had a bad attitude and she's going to make him wait. SHE DID! The driver behind me told her that he might be in a hurry and she was wrong for making him waiting and that he wasn't rude to her at all. 7 people later she weighs him and tells him to come in. This was very unprofessional, I herd him and he certainly was not rude, he sounded out of breath. He could have been sick, or maybe he just finished securing his load again. You never know a person's story so don't judge!
Really loves?!? Corporate needs to pay a visit. The parking lot smells like hot pee so badly I was getting sick and had to move my truck but once you go into the bathroom you can tell they do not clean those either. Showers look like they have never been cleaned. Soap dispensers are empty. Toilets and floors have a layer of filth on them. I love loves! I'm a platinum card holder monthly but I will pass this one next time we are in the area.
I've noticed this last time out that it didn't matter if we're at a old loves or a fresh new loves. The EMPLOYEE makes or breaks our experience. . It can be a fresh new loves and still be filthy because the employee doesn't take pride in their job. Last week had no option but to stay at a original loves that was very old, I thought oh great old shower & a nasty filthy store. I was so wrong. Yes it was incredibly outdated but it was the cleanest loves I had been to, I thanked the employees for giving us a clean environment Durning our 10hr stay there. That means more than you can imagine.
I was allowed to use a gas card with no identification which is against policy. But was not allowed to manually enter my debit info for food with proof of being account holder. I know for a fact it is managers decision and stated that he agreed and he still refused. Its 20 degrees all I wanted was food I'm 13hrs away from home cause I am a driver. So u will risk gas being stolen with but you wont let someone pay for food in the middle of bad snowing weather. Seeing as this is a truck stop professional drivers should be treated better. How do tou follow some card policies but not all. They need to do better. Hate to say it but if I was a older white male. I wouldnt have had a problem.
THEY HAVE A ROAD SERVICE THAT REALLY SUCKS AT THIS LOVES... IF YOU GET JIMMY FOR ROAD SERVICE... HE DOESN'T WANT TO GET WET OR DIRTY... TO MY CALL HE HAD TO GO BACK TO THE SHOP 3 TIMES... AND YES HE IS MORE WORRY ABOUT SMOKING.... THAN FIXING TRUCK....
